Who we are.

Hello and welcome to our junior schoolwebsite at Rathdown. We thought this would be a good way to keep in touch and let you catch glimpses of all the work – and play – that goes on at the school. The teachers and students are their busy imaginative selves, and we thought you would appreciate the chance to keep abreast. We have gone for a “busy” look because that mirrors the busy life of the students and their teachers. You can think of our approach as – wait for it, I know it's a stretch! – akin to the stream of consciousness that James Joyce employed in Ulysses around 100 years ago, a device that represented a break from the formal positivism that had dominated writing styles before his time.
